Shytter Monthly Giveaway: Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Shytter Monthly Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is run by Shytter LLC, 8838 Black Oak Ct NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122 ("Shytter"). Apple Inc. and Google LLC do not sponsor, endorse or run the Giveaway and are not responsible for it.

2. Who can enter

• Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
• At least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi).
• You need a Shytter account in good standing. Guest accounts can't enter.
• Employees and contractors of Shytter LLC, and members of their immediate families or households, can't win.

3. Giveaway periods

Each calendar month is a separate giveaway. A month starts at 12:00 am and ends at 11:59 pm Mountain Time (Albuquerque, New Mexico) on its last day.

4. How to get tickets

• Each new review you post in the Shytter app while signed in earns 1 ticket, while the month is open. Tickets never depend on your rating or what your review says.
• You can only review a place after checking in there through the app, which confirms you are at the place.
• Each place can earn you one ticket, ever. Deleting a review and writing it again, in the same month or later, does not earn another ticket.
• You can earn up to 50 tickets per month.
• Only the first 1,000 reviews each month across all users earn tickets, unless the app shows a different number for that month.
• Shytter may require accounts created after a date shown in the app to confirm a phone number by text before they can earn tickets.
• If a review is removed, by you or by us, its ticket is void.
• Reviews must follow the Shytter Terms of Service. Fake reviews, extra accounts, bots or any attempt to get tickets unfairly will void your tickets and may get you banned.

You can see your tickets for the current month in the app.

5. The drawing

Around the 3rd day of the next month, Shytter will pick one winning ticket at random from all valid tickets for that month. The odds of winning depend on how many valid tickets were given out that month (at most the month's ticket limit).

6. The prize

• One prize per month: $100 paid by Zelle, unless the app shows a different amount for that month before it starts.
• The prize can't be transferred, exchanged or paid another way, except that Shytter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if needed.
• The winner is responsible for any taxes. If your prizes from Shytter in a calendar year reach the IRS reporting threshold ($2,000 for 2026, adjusted by the IRS after that), we will need a completed IRS Form W-9 before paying and will send you a Form 1099. We may also ask for a W-9 if the law requires it below that amount.

7. Claiming the prize

• We will tell the winner in the app and by email.
• The winner has 14 days from that notice to claim the prize in the app by confirming their full legal name, the email or phone number on their Zelle account, and that they meet the age and residency rules.
• We may ask for proof of identity and age, or a signed statement of eligibility, before paying. We only pay the person who owns the winning account.
• If the winner doesn't claim in time, isn't eligible, or can't be paid, the prize is forfeited and Shytter may draw an alternate winner from the remaining valid tickets.

8. General conditions

• Shytter may disqualify anyone who tampers with the Giveaway, breaks these rules or the Terms of Service, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive way.
• If the Giveaway can't run as planned because of a technical problem, fraud or anything outside Shytter's control, Shytter may cancel, change or suspend it, and may draw from valid tickets received before the problem.
• Shytter is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries, app or network failures, or errors in Zelle details given by the winner.

9. Release

By claiming a prize, the winner releases Shytter, Apple and Google from any liability for injury, loss or damage connected with the Giveaway or the prize, to the extent the law allows. Where the law allows, Shytter may use the winner's display name and city to announce the winner, without extra payment.

10. Privacy

Information collected for the Giveaway is used as described in the Shytter Privacy Policy.

11. Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Disputes about the Giveaway are resolved as described in section 16 (Disputes) of the Shytter Terms of Service, including its arbitration agreement and the option to opt out of it.
